SOP/IOP

Our SOP (Supportive Outpatient Program) and IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) help clients to develop effective relapse prevention skills through education, individual and group sessions.      

    • IOP  consists of  (3-4) 2-hour group counseling sessions a week for a total of 26 sessions (the equivalent to 45-days). Plus (3) individual sessions
    • SOP consists of (2) 2-hour group counseling sessions a week for a total of 26 sessions (the equivalent to 90-days/3month). Plus (3) individual sessions

BIPP

Our fully-accredited TDCJAD-APPROVED  Domestic Violence Battering Intervention and Prevention Program (BIPP) is for clientswho have been violent, abusive, and/or controlling in their intimate and family relationships to recognize, accept responsibility for, and end this behavior.   This course is also required for clients that have a protective order against them.  We offer classes for both men and women (separate groups provided).  It consists of (18) 2-hour sessions  (once a week).

DWI INTERVENTION /REPEAT OFFENDER PROGRAM (DWI-I)

This program is designed for DWI repeat offenders. It consists of 32 hours (provided in 15 2-hour sessions + 2 individual sessions).Specific course topics include lifestyle issues, values, self-esteem, positive thinking vs. irrational beliefs, responsibility, physiological/psychological effects of drugs, alcoholism, chemical dependency, how drug abuse effects family members, co-dependency, Al-Anon, treatment options, l2-Step Self-Help Groups, peer pressure, relapse prevention, problem solving and action planning.

DWI EDUCATION /1st OFFENDER PROGRAM (DWI-E)

This program consists of 12 hours (provided in 3 4-hour sessions). It’s designed to help 1st-time DWI offenders increase their knowledge about alcohol and drugs as these substances relate to driving skills, to identify their own individual drinking/drug use and driving patterns, and to assist them in developing plans which will reduce the probability of future DWI behavior.  Specific course topics include alcohol/drug and traffic safety problems, Texas laws relating to DWI, effects of alcohol/drugs on humans, alcohol/drugs and driving task abilities, chemical dependency, symptoms of dependency, sources of assistance, costs of DWI, and decision-making.

ALCOHOL/DRUG AWARENESS

This program is designed to provide a working knowledge of the Alcoho/Drugl addiction process. Alcohol Awareness : (6) 2-hour sessions. Meets  once a week . Drug Awareness : (6) 2-hour sessions. Meets  once a week. Alcohol and Drug Awareness : (9) 2-hour sessions. Meets  once a week.

ALCOHOL AND DRUG EVALUATION

We offer professional Alcohol and Drug Evaluation Services to assess the severity of the client drug/alcohol addiction and provide a plan for appropriate treatment.  Our evaluations consist of a set of comprehensive questions designed to determine whether the offender meets the diagnosis of substance abuse or addiction, or has misused the substance that led to the arrest.

AFTER CARE

Our After Care/Relapse Prevention program helps clients to maintain their sobriety and avoid an alcohol/drug relapse . Clients meet once a week (in a 2-hour session) for 12 weeks.

Anger Management

Our Anger Management Program is for clients to understand and learn techniques and other means of dealing with anger. Topics include anger management, stress management, assertive communication, and emotional intelligence.These services are provided to both Court/probation clients and to individual clients/employers. Different durations (12-hour, 8-hour and 4-hour programs) are offered.

ANTI-THEFT/SHOPLIFTING CLASS

Our  Anti-theft/Shoplifting class is for people who have been involved in any theft related offense. In this theft/shoplifting class, we explore an offender’s thinking and behaviors, while also discussing victim awareness and personal responsibility.  Other areas of focus are goal establishment, choices and consequences. This course is appropriate for mandated clients who are required to attend theft counseling/classes or for those seeking help on their own.  The program consists of 4 hours (1 session).

PARENTING

Our Parenting program provides  provides parents with helpful tips and strategies on dealing with common parenting challenges.  The course covers a range of parenting topics, including child development, communication, positive discipline and stress management. We offer different duration for these clases:  4-hour, 8-hour and other modalities.
